PopDir is the second in a line of "Pop" utilities. To run PopDir you must
use RUNBACK or similar, or else the initial CLI will never close. PopDir
may also be run from the Workbench icon. When run, a small "icon" opens
(because of it's smallness, it does not use up chip memory or screen space).
Clicking on this "icon" causes a larger window to "Pop" open.
This window contains a string gadget (into which you type the path name) and
various gadgets (shortcuts for various devices). Clicking on a device gadget
causes that device name to be inserted in the string gadget. When you have
the path name entered correctly in the string gadget, click on the "Dir"
gadget. This causes a large window to open, which then displays the
directory of the specified path (filenames themselves are allowable paths).
Files are in pen colour 1, and Directories are in pen colour 3.
When a page full of names has been displayed, the program waits for the
press of any key before continuing. When all names have been
displayed, clicking on the close gadget returns you to the gadget window.
Clicking on the close gadget in this window exits the program.
PopDir also allows you to check the specified path for the IRQ virus. When
the IRQ Check gadget is enabled (highlighted), all files in the specified
path will be checked. If the IRQ virus is found in any files, it will be
automatically removed, with no input from the user necessary.
Please enjoy and use the program. Any comments, bug reports, or spare
money can be sent to
